Ethical Print Co. is part of Ethical Design Co. This policy explains what personal information we collect through ethicalprint.co, how we use it and how we look after it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, organisation, email, phone number and delivery address, and the details of what you order.
- Artwork: the files you upload or email to us, and anything in them.
- Payment: card payments are processed by Stripe. We don’t see or store your full card number. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details, such as the card type and the last four digits.
- Enquiries: the information you give us when you request a quote, apply for an account or contact us.
- Website use: technical information such as your browser, device, pages viewed and how you arrived at our site, collected through cookies and similar tools.
How we use it
- to process, print and deliver your order, and to contact you about it (including artwork, proofs and delivery)
- to send tax invoices and keep business records
- to respond to quotes and enquiries
- to keep your press-ready artwork on file so you can reprint easily
- to understand how our website is used and improve it, and to protect it from spam and misuse
We only send marketing emails if you’ve agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed. These include:
- our printing and finishing partners, to produce your order
- couriers, to deliver your order
- Stripe, to process payments
- providers that host our website, send our emails and help us manage client projects
- analytics and security services, such as Google and Cloudflare
Some of these providers store information outside Australia. We use providers that take reasonable steps to protect personal information. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies to run the cart and checkout, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the cart and checkout won’t work without them.
Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep order records for as long as we need them for business and tax purposes, then delete or de-identify them.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@ethicalprint.co.

If you have a question or a privacy complaint, email support@ethicalprint.co and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
